School Formals
Melbourne DJ Hire was booked to service a school formal at the Frankston Arts Centre last week. Our Melbourne Dj, photobooth and roaming photographer was booked to service the event. Due to the restrictions towards dancefloors, the students were unable to dance. However, the school did organise a lot of other entertainment to keep the students busy and entertained at the school formal.
The school had organised a photobooth to keep the students entertained in between meals. The students got to take many photos with their friendship groups and also got to take a little photo strip as a memento to take home. These students have had two years of remote learning and also two years of cancelled events like school formals, social events at school and graduations. The teachers really wanted to treat the students to a great night, which is why they hired a number of services to make it a memorable night.
The school also set up a backdrop for the students to take photos in front of. Our roaming photographer organised the students in groups so that classes, house groups and other mentor groups could all get a group photo together. Group shots are always very popular at school formals so it is important to have a designated area for the students to use as a photography backdrop.
Even though the students we unable to dance, the teachers still hired a Melbourne Dj for the school formal. The DJ played up tempo commercial songs and students were able to listen to music and sway along to songs when they were moving around the venue. The teachers also invited a few of the musical students to play their instruments, and perform during the event. A small video was also made by some of the students so some of the downtime could be filled up with the video.
If you are planning a school formal, there are many ways to organise a memorable night for your students even if they cannot dance. Photobooths, photography set ups and other forms of entertainment can still keep everyone entertained.
