Update of Covid-19
The impact of Covid-19 has been a very hard time for many businesses in Melbourne. Since Sunday when the Government announced the shutdown of non essential services and gatherings all of our customers were forced to cancel their events. All our Melbourne Djs who rely on the weekend work to pay their bills will have to be out of work for the next few months. It is an incredibly stressful time for all businesses in the entertainment industry who rely heavily on parties, events and any social gatherings like festivals.
Caterers, chefs, wait staff, musicians, photographers, all of those people are out of jobs. A lot of Melbourne DJ hire’s peers have now had to apply for their Centrelink stimulus package because unless those people have second jobs, their income will immediately stop. The impact of Covid-19 has definitely put a dark cloud over everyone, however Melbourne DJ hire have clients who are just postponing their events. We anticipate that after the impact of Covid-19 there will be a lot of people throwing their parties. Venues and restaurants will be booming with all the people who want to get out of their houses and finally get to celebrate with their friends and family.
By the time the world has recovered from the impact of Covid-19, it should be August to September and that is actually the time when Melbourne Dj Hire and Beauty and the Booth start to pick up business and get busy with work. So if people are rescheduling their events for after August then we will have double the amount of work and events to cater for. Hopefully the economy will thrive again and all the jobs that have been lost will be filled again.
