YOGA
This is quite an odd blog post, you might be thinking “what does Melbourne DJ Hire have in common with yoga?” A few of Melbourne Dj Hire’s staff members take yoga classes, it is a great way to wind down from the hectic schedule and party environment that we work in, but it is also a great way to stretch out muscles, stay flexible and feel great.
So just the other day one of our Melbourne DJs took equipment to a busy yoga event and played some up beat tracks and then slowed down the music for some more relaxing yoga poses. Yoga generally is a slow paced exercise but occasionally there are classes where the poses are faster for a more cardio workout effect. Our Melbourne DJ mixed up a set of pop music remixes to play during the session and then when it was time to slow down the class some relaxing acoustic music was played so everyone could enjoy their savasana. It was definitely a very different yoga class than what the students were normally used to and it was all because of the music. The music made the yoga instructor speed things up to make it an intense fast paced class that got all the students in a sweat.
Melbourne DJ Hire’s photographer also took some great photos to the yoga class. She took photos of the instructor in some seriously impressive yoga poses as well as lots of photos of the whole class in a powerful unison pose. Then at the end of the class a big group photo was taken with all the yogi’s taking the photo in their powerful yoga poses. Triangle poses, tree poses and other amazing poses we showed off in the group photo where our clients would use them for their website to help promote their regular classes and other special events. It definitely was a very different event for our Melbourne Dj and photographer to work in but it was great fun and our bodies really enjoyed the workout!
