Marriott Waters Function Centre

Melbourne Dj Hire worked at Marriott Waters Function Centre last weekend and it truely was a great function area. Marriott Waters is actually a local shopping centre in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne called Lyndhurst. Just to the right of the shopping complex is a hotel called The Club Marriott and within that hotel is a medium sized function room with an outdoor courtyard attached to it. 

Our clients had organised a wedding ceremony in the courtyard and also planned to have the cocktail party in the function space. The space was large enough to fit 80 guests comfortably and some kids games were set up on the courtyard to keep the younger guests entertained. 

There was also a speaker system where the Melbourne Dj could connect into or clients could also plug in their iPhones and play from their own playlist. The function also had a little kitchenette tucked in the back so that hosts could prepare and organise their food. Since the function space was so close to the shops our clients ended up ordering pizzas from the local dominos and chips from the local charcoal chicken shop. 

Hiring a blank function space like this one at the Marriott Waters Function Centre would also save the clients a lot of money with the catering and drinks. As we mentioned, the clients purchased food from the local take away restaurants. But they were also able to bring in their own sandwiches, and fruit platters and kids snacks for the kids. They were also able to bring in their own drinks. Eskies were set up in the courtyard for guests to help themselves with the beers, ciders and mixers. There was also a couple of bottles of spirits if guests wanted to have a stronger drink. 

So if you are local to Lyndhurst and looking for a venue to hold your event. Then the Marriott Waters Function Centre could be the perfect place for you. It is a lovely, clean and bright function space and conveniently located at the Club Marriot hotel, so guests can also stay the night as well.
