Small Scale Wedding

Melbourne Dj Hire have noticed there have been a lot more small scale weddings in the last couple of years. Due to the lack of availability of the large wedding venues and also the uncertainty of restrictions and density limits, a lot of couples are now holding simple weddings with a short ceremony, some quick photos and a small dinner or cocktail party afterwards. 

Our Melbourne Djs are hired to play the music during the ceremony and while guests are enjoying the food and then towards the end of the night, the guests can get the dance-floor started. The couple also book our talented photographers to capture the ceremony, some family photos, some roaming shots of the couple with the guests and also some candids throughout the day. Our photographers can even take the couple out to a nice location and take some couple photos so they have some nice photos to frame around the house. 

Small scale weddings are usually very relaxed as the couple are not on a tight schedule for a number of speeches, cut cutting, first dance and other formalities. The couples have a lot of fun relaxing and chatting to guests, sometimes they are even organising food and running around making sure everyone is looked after. 

A little advice from Melbourne Dj Hire when it is a small wedding, it is so easy to take on all the little jobs like setting up the decorations, the tables, setting up the donut stand and the food table and drinks. All of those little details will take a lot of time and we see a lot of clients run out of time and get very stressed out because they need to put our the bowls of chips or forget to get the ice for the esky. It is a good idea to write up a to do list and delegate that list to a couple of your family members. For example a brother can be in charge of putting out the drinks and getting ice and cups, the mother can be in charge of setting up the food table. It is better to have more help then stress yourself out on the day trying to manage 20 things on your own.
