Melbourne Dj hire have worked at a few pool parties over the years. Mostly birthday parties and but some have also been Christmas pool parties. Pool parties are ideal for the Australian summer weather when temperatures can climb up to the high thirties and forties. They are great for both kids and adults. 

Pool parties for a kids birthday is definitely the most popular. Our Melbourne Dj will set up on the deck or in the backyard and play some pop summer anthems and the kids can swim while listening to the music. Then when they come out of the pool they can have a dance on the deck, one mother also organised a dance competition when everyone got out of the pool and gave out prizes for the best dancer. 

A pool party for the older kids usually just involves the Dj playing some pop or Rnb or club tracks and the older kids will usually be chilling out by the pull and singing along to the music. Then some parents who are not in the pool will have a dance on the dance floor. 

Melbourne Dj hire have also worked at a Christmas pool party. One time was a Christmas party where a staff member generously offered to hold the Christmas party at her house because she had a pool. Then all the staff brought along their kids and their kids got to enjoy the day splashing around in the pool. Another Christmas party that Melbourne Dj hire worked at was a small family and friends Christmas party. The family still wanted to hire a Melbourne Dj to create a cool party vibe, but most of the kids were interested in jumping in and out of the pool.
