Ways To Entertain Your Guests
Melbourne DJ Hire worked at an event over the weekend where a majority of the crowd we not into dancing. This company was based overseas and it was an extremely multicultural crowd and a number of the guests were quite reserved. Melbourne DJ Hire have worked for this company for a number of years, and every year it is obvious that a majority of the guests are more interested in the lavish food than drinking and dancing the night away.
The organisers know their crowd and were aware of this as well and they have come up with so many ways to entertain their guests and keep them engaged throughout the night. They booked a roaming photographer and a photobooth from Melbourne DJ Hire, so there were many times during the night where the guests could take some fun photos. But they also incorporated a number of games, competitions and activities on the night so that it would keep the guests engaged. They also had a long table full of amazing prizes like polaroid cameras, mini barbeques, blenders, coffee machines and so much more.
At first there was an online quiz that the guests could log into via their smart phones and they got to answer some work questions and the top 5 contestants who scored the highest got to pick a prize from the prize table. Then there was a game where the guests would group up into team and play Chinese Whispers. Then a virtual game where the contestants would play on stage and all the participants would get a prize for joining.
At the end of the event, the guests had a great time with the canapés, meals, cocktails and prizes. Our Melbourne DJ did play some fun tracks and we did get the dancefloor going, but if you feel like you have a crowd who are not interested in dancing, or if you are holding a day event then these fun party ideas are a great option to keep the guests engaged.
