Time To Book A Photobooth
What Times to Book the Photobooth
Melbourne Dj Hire worked at an event over the weekend where they booked the photobooth from the start of the evening and wanted the photobooth to finish an hour before the end of the event, but after all the speeches and performances were finished they guests only had about 15 minutes to get their photos taken. In most cases, that is a great idea as you would like your guests on the dancefloor rather than lining up to get their photo taken.
The reason why guests were unable to take that many photos during the night was because there were a lot of formalities during the course of the evening. There were a number of staff awards and speeches, there were a lot of games, performances and activities which required the guests to be seated. So by the end of the night when everything had wrapped up, all the guests came lining up for the photobooth for their photos.
During the evening our photobooth staff did encourage guests to take some photos during any breaks and the MC did make announcements for the photobooth but guests were in between meals and activities. When you are looking at what times to book the photobooth, it is always a good idea to leave at least 45 minutes after the last activity, it could be the last speech, award or after the desserts. That way the guests know that the event is about to wind down and 45 minutes gives all the guests a good amount of time to get there photobooth session and grab a drink and dance.
So if you are planning an event and are unsure about the times on when to book the photobooth, then it is best to leave 30-45 minutes at the end off all the formalities so all the guests have ample time to have a photobooth experience. If it is a cocktail event where there isn’t a lot of formalities, guests can just jump in and out of the photobooth for the whole night and the photobooth can be packed up earlier.
