Social Distancing in Photobooths
Melbourne Dj Hire and our partnering photo booth company Beauty and the Booth are in the process of preparing to get back to work. On November 23rd, the restrictions for wedding numbers will be opened up to 100 guests and once that happens, there will be a huge flood of couples wanting to book in their wedding dates.
We have come up with Covid safe plans for our Melbourne djs and Melbourne photographers. Their services are naturally contact free and Covid safe, our Melbourne djs don’t really get in really close contact with guests and neither do our photographers. But the one service that Melbourne Dj Hire has to be very strict about is the photo booth side of the business and we have to think about how we can socially distance in photobooths.
Social distancing in photobooths was always going to be difficult because people like to get in close together to take their photos. Luckily Melbourne Dj Hire have 5 open photo booths where guests can go in and take photos and still socially distance themselves from each other. We can also provide props to guests as long as the items are sanitized after every use. We have put in place a signage informing guests to only pick the one prop for each session, then after the photo booth session is finished the props get placed in a basket where they will be sanitized and then displayed again. We will also put out some hand sanitizer at the exit of the photobooth.
There is also a rule that if one household goes into the photobooth, they will not be required to wear a mask or social distance. However, if a few people from multiple households would like to take a photo with their masks off then they will need to social distance. Melbourne DJ Hire have stated in our covid safe plan that we will write up a sign informing all guests of these new regulations.
