School Valedictory Celebrations

Melbourne dj hire have worked at many valedictory dinners over the past few weeks, some schools plan their valedictories just before the exams start, others have theirs after the exams have finished and some even hold their valedictories after the results have been released. They all vary on size and running schedules. Some schools hand out awards for the high achieving students and the VCE certificates for every student and some are just a party gathering for the students to come together and celebrate with their families. 

Some schools even hire a Melbourne dj and photobooth so the families can have a dance with their graduating students. These events where there is a more casual informal setting, usually consists of a dinner, a couple of short speeches and then some dancing towards the end of the night. It really is just a big party to end the school journey of the students. 

Then the other type of valedictory is one where there are a number of speeches, from the principal, school leaders, coordinators or other school members, these events have a more formal setting and it really isn’t worth hiring a Melbourne DJ or photobooth as there wont be enough time to use those services. If you are planning an event where there are a lot of awards and presentations we would suggest booking a photographer to capture all those moments of the speakers and award winners. Then during any breaks we can also capture some group photos of students and their families. 

So if you are planning a valedictory just be mindful that this event is the last event for your students and it is important that they get to catch up and take some photos together to remember their time at school. Sometimes, numerous long speeches can really drag the night on when a lot of the guests really just want to catch up, take some photos and make some last memories with their classmates and teachers.
