Just recently, Melbourne dj hire and Beauty and the Booth were hired to provide a Melbourne dj and a Melbourne photobooth to a large scaled Indian wedding. The beautiful women were all wearing colourful and sparkly saris. As soon as all the gorgeous guests came in it was like the party had already started because there was already so much colour and laughter in the room
The night started off by all the different families gathering together to take group family photos, then everyone was seated to welcome the groom and the bride who was all dressed in a colourful embellished saris, a traditional Indian dance followed, then speeches from parents of each side of the families, brothers and sisters from each side of the families and then the groom. The bride however had a special performance for her new husband and choreographed a 10 minute long dance performance of how they met and how their relationship grew. She had 4 beautiful backup dances and it set everyone in the mood to get on the dancefloor.
The food was a generous buffet of curries and rice and flat breads. A different type of serving from the traditional wedding but the food was just as fantastic. If not better.
The rest of the night was just full of dancing. The Melbourne dj was given a list of ethnic Indian music to play and everybody was on the dance floor. Melbourne dj have worked at many corporate parties with a lot of Indian guests and they are always up for a dance. We ended up having to stay back an extra 10 minutes as no one wanted to stop dancing, the venue had to kick everyone out!
