Collingwood’s Children Farm

Over the weekend our team was hired for a wedding at the Collingwood Childrens Farm. Our Melbourne Dj and our photobooth was booked to provide the entertainment for the event. Melbourne DJ Hire have worked at the Collingwood Childrens Farm multiple times, we are regularly booked at the venue for rustic farm style weddings and our photobooth are also booked annually for the Naidoc Week festival where the farm holds a free event for families. 

Weddings at the Collingwood Childrens Farm is extremely popular, the barn has a rustic look that is decked out in fairy lights, there is an outdoor area which is the perfect spot for a relaxing drink on a summers evening. Our team have worked at a few different types of weddings at the Collingwood Childrens Farm, some couples set up tables for a more formal type of sit down wedding but most people take advantage of all the space around and opt for a cocktail style wedding where guests are free to walk around the space and mingle. As mentioned previously, there are lots of spaces where guests can explore, there is a cafe area set up with picnic benches, there is a stunning veggie garden, animal pens and cages where you can see the farm animals roam around. 

The barn is divided into two sections, a top level which is usually the area for meals and there is also a lower level with a huge space for a dancefloor. Our Melbourne Dj is usually set up at the corner of the barn so that the whole lower level can be used for the dancefloor. There is also a little nook in the barn that is the perfect spot for a photobooth.
