House Weddings

Melbourne Dj Hire were hired to provide a photobooth and a Melbourne Dj to a house wedding in regional Victoria. The wedding was held on an amazing property which had a block in Warrandyte. The property overlook the hills and mountains of the Yarra Valley and has ample space for density limits. 

The couple who owned the house decided to hold their low key wedding at home and organised decorations and furniture to turn their home into an amazing wedding venue. They organised a floral arch which was perfect for the ceremony, they also hired an external contractor to provide chairs for their guests while the ceremony was taking place. The couple also set up fairy light decorations around their backyard to create a magical twinkle effect when it got dark. 

The couple also hired a food truck that made wood fired pizzas. It was a great way to cater for the event as the pizzas were a simple and easy option for a cocktail party. Guests could eat the pizza while standing and the pizza could be easily served on a tray and roam around the property or left on some tables for guests to graze on. The pizza truck also simply cooked all the meals in their truck. The kitchen was kept clean and after dinner was served the food truck left without leaving any mess. 

Another great reason to hold a house wedding is cost! The couple were able to save a lot of cost with the catering from the food truck and they saved a lot of costs with drinks. The couple were able to purchase spirits and wines and guests were able to serve themselves. There was unlimited drinks of all types and the couple would have saved a lot of money of drinks compared to having their wedding at a venue.
