Melbourne Dj hire recently worked at a surprise wedding over the weekend where the celebrant who carried out the ceremony was none other than Channel Ten’s favourite funny weatherman Mike Larkin. Mike showed up the the wedding pretending to be a friend of the groom and saying that he will be the MC of the night. Then after telling a few of his iconic dad jokes he revealed that there would be a wedding happening that night.

The guests thought that they were attending an engagement party. The room was set up very plain with a presents table, a nibbles table and couple of tables for canapés. Half the room was blocked off by the venues partition wall because it was set up with a flower backdrop for the ceremony, a Melbourne Dj and also a photobooth. Then once Mr Mike Larkin revealed that there would be a wedding happening the doors were opened and Mike told the crowd to make a path in the middle of the room for the bride to walk down.

He was a great speaker and kept the crowd engaged the whole time, he was witty and came up with jokes on the spot. Melbourne Dj hire’s clients said that Mike was very involved in the planning stages of the ceremony and even suggested some ideas on how to deliver the surprise to the guests.

After the ceremony was over Mike Larkin was also happy to make some announcements and perform a few MC duties for the group photo, speeches, first dance and the cutting of the cake. After all the formalities were over he stayed back to take a few photos with fans and actually mingled amongst guests.

It was a great surprise wedding and Mike Larkin made the night and the formalities seem effortless and it will definitely be a special night that the guests would not forget.
