Surprise Wedding

Melbourne Dj hire and our partnering photobooth company Beauty and the Booth were booked to provide the entertainment services for Angie and Darren’s engagement party over the weekend at the Melbourne Golf Academy in Cheltenham. The guests showed up to the Melbourne Golf Academy thinking that it was an engagement party but it was actually a surprise wedding.

Guests were squished into half of the function space because half the room was already set up with a flower backdrop for the ceremony, 3 rows of seats for the older guests to sit and watch the ceremony, and also our Melbourne Dj and photobooth. The couple said to everyone that the room was booked for a function the next day and everything was already set up.

Then when most of the guests arrived and had settled in with drinks, a few canapés and had said their hellos the celebrant arrived and pretended to be the MC for the night and welcomed everyone and then announced the surprise. The staff at the venue opened up the secret room which had been beautifully set up with the rows of seating, a flower backdrop for the ceremony and a Melbourne Dj and a photobooth.

The celebrant then continued with the ceremony and then after that was over it was time for the couple to sign their marriage certificate then after that was done they were to cut the cake and then continue on with speeches. After speeches were done the celebrant announced the first dance to commence. Then all the guests were asked to join in on the dance floor and then that concluded the formalities for the night and then the real party started and our Melbourne Dj kicked on with all the party tracks.
