Baxter Barn

This weekend Melbourne Dj hire worked at Baxter Barn for a small intimate wedding. Baxter is just past Mornington and this little venue has it all!

When you first arrive you feel like you are driving into a farm estate, there is a field and animal fences and pens by the car park but once you start exploring this venue literally has everything you could want for your wedding.

There is a beautiful garden with sweeping trees, garden hedges and arches perfect for a wedding ceremony, quirky barns framed with with climbing vines. There are giant trees, a lake, old tractors and machinery perfect for photo shoots.

Next to the barn where the reception is held is also a playground to entertain kids, how many times have you been to a wedding where you have kids running around in the foyer. At Baxter Barn there is a quirky handmade wooden set of swings and other fun activities they can entertain each other with.

Baxter Barn has also a decked out caravan with their own photobooth inside. Guests go inside the photobooth which has its own lighting and props and the prints come out on the side of the caravan. Then the caravan booth is not being used the exterior of it is decorated with reclaimed wood and mirrors and is also a great photography backdrop.

Just outside the barn where our Melbourne Dj set up there is also an open lawn area which is decorated with hanging fairy lights and it would be a perfect place to hold a night garden cocktail party on a spring or summer night. In fact the whole barn was decorated with fairy lights adding to the magical atmosphere of the venue.
