Wattle Park Chatlet – Dj Hire

Over the weekend, Melbourne Dj hire sent a team of photographers, a Melbourne Dj and also a photobooth to a venue called Wattle Park Chalet. Nestled in the leafy suburbs of Surrey Hills stands this charming little reception venue. It has an olden almost medieval style style of architecture which was perfect for a photoshoot. Wattle Park Chalet is also located in the centre of a large park making it perfect for wedding photos. 

The venue also has a charming little garden which is perfect for holding the wedding ceremony and also a great backdrop for the group photo and also the family photos. Melbourne Dj hire’s team of photographers had a lot of choices for photography locations at the Wattle Park Chalet. There were olden style teams where we set up the bridal party shoot, there were great majestic trees, flower vines, framed doorways and the face of the Wattle Park Chalet had a perfectly symmetrical architecture. 

Inside the space there were exposed beams and cathedral ceilings. There are two balconies at the venue where the Melbourne Dj could set up. Our photobooth has also been set up on the balcony as the tables had taken up most of the space downstairs. Setting up both services on a separate level also means that guests have to walk up stairs to use the photobooth or request a song from the Melbourne Dj. 

The ceiling above the dance floor is also draped with beautiful fairy lights making the first dance photos very magical. The Wattle Park Chalet have really thought of everything from a photography and presentation point of view. The bride told us that she picked the Wattle Park Chalet because she could do everything at the venue, getting ready, the ceremony, the photos and the reception. It was just a very simple straight forward day. With not a lot of travelling around.
