Dancefloors Are Back

Great news was announced last week, because Melbourne has hit the vaccination targets early the dancefloors are back and Melbourne DJ Hire are now ready. 
At the previous jobs Melbourne DJ Hire was advised that dancefloors were only permitted if guests were wearing masks, one of our regular clients booked us for a Year 10 formal at a grand reception venue and the student were only permitted on the dancefloor if they were wearing masks. The school decided to hold the event early for a celebration for their students, it was a good choice to hold the event on that earlier date as venues were getting booked out on dates towards the end of the year as so many bride and grooms and other clients were waiting until the dancefloors were back on. 
Another school who held their celebrations early was Balwyn High School. Melbourne DJ Hire was booked to play music for their year 12 students. Initially the event was booked at a nice function room at a venue in the city, but since there were still restrictions in place, the school decided to hold their year 12 graduation event on the school grounds. At the time of their booking in the middle of November, dancing was only permitted if it was outdoors. So, the school set up a large marquee and decorated the marquee with fairy lights and the Melbourne DJ was set up in there and played to a full dancefloor. The students got to dress up and the school grounds was transformed into a great party space with our party lights and also the sparkling fairy lights. 
It really is a relief to hear that dancefloors are back, for so long our clients were unsure whether or not to book an event because the rules around dancing was unclear. But now that dancefloors are back, clients are now confident to book in their events.
