Functions @Clayton Hotel

Melbourne DJ Hire worked at a 60th birthday party at the Clayton Hotel over the weekend. The Clayton Hotel has had a massive renovation and has very modern looking function room upstairs. The ground level is set up like a normal pub bistro with the pokies venue and the restaurant and bar, but there is also a staircase that leads you to a large function space. The clients over the weekend only had about 50 people at the event, so the venue put up a divider in the middle of the function room to create a smaller space for a smaller crowd. The room also has nice draped curtain which can cover the entire window of the venue, so it makes for an amazing backdrop for some photos.

Our Melbourne DJ set up in the corner of the room, making space for the the dancefloor, our open photobooth was set up in the corner so that it was tucked away and guests were free to jump in to use it when they felt like it and our roaming photographer roamed the room capturing family shots and group shots of the birthday boy and all his friends. Then once the dancing started our roaming photographer captured all the fun on the dancefloor .So if you were looking to hire the Clayton Hotel for a larger event, then the full sized function space would easily hold 120 people cocktail style and about 70 people seated. The room has a modern design, with hardwood floors, mosaic tiled bar and metal wired hanging lights. It is also easily accessible to guests and contractors as there is lift access to the room. The function room also has an outdoor balcony area, which was the perfect space for guest to have a smoke or even just to get some fresh area. The venue also has a prime location in Clayton with street parking and being a stone throw away from Clayton Station.
