Melbourne DJ Hire worked at the 60th birthday in Mount Martha over the weekend. The Mornington Peninsula is a great place to hold an event because of the spectacular beach scenery and because of the freeway it is relatively easy to get to. The party was held on a Friday night at 6pm and most guests were able to arrive by 7pm. The Mornington region is very accessible as there are a number of freeways that connect into Melbourne so most people go straight down the freeway to get up and back.
Another reason why a number of our clients pick Mornington as a destination for their event is the holiday location. There are a number of Air BnBs, holiday houses, hotels and resorts. Guests could travel down to the to Mornington area, check into their accommodation and then go to their party destination, then they can return to their accommodation after the party and not have to worry about travelling back to Melbourne late at night. As this celebration was held on a Friday, many guests decided to stay in Mornington for the entire weekend.
There are also an abundance for great venues on the beachfront with stunning beach views during the day and then your guests will get a magical view of the sunset over the shimmering water. There are also plenty of locations for weddings photos not only on the beach but the beach huts, there are walking trails and a lot of gardens as well.
So if you have guests closer to the South East side of Melbourne, then the Mornington Peninsular would be a great spot to hold a celebration. It is a bit of a drive but an easy route down the freeway and not an excessive amount of time, your guests will also love the option of being able to stay at the location and make a mini vacation out of it.
