Event Styling – Melbourne Djs

The team at Melbourne Dj Hire work with an incredible team of stylists over the weekend. The event styling team were to deck out a backyard and to transform a concrete backyard, and carport into a space fit for a glamorous wedding. Our Melbourne DJ was set up in the back of the carport and the photobooth was set up on the porch. 

The team did such a good with the layout of the space making sure that there was room for all the older guests to have a seat and take a break from the loud music and dancefloor. They also set up a lot of bar tables around the dance floor and a bar in the center of the space so that there was easy access to drinks. The back section had a grazing table set up so guests could go over during the night and pick up some food. The set up of the layout of the function is very important, if you make the space too comfortable people will sit on the chairs and lounges for most of the night and not get up to have a dance. If you don’t have enough seating for guests then guests could get tired and not enjoy the party as much. 

The center pieces for the tables were also very nice, they were simply olden style stone vases with olive tree branches and some white flowers, the theme was Mediterranean so the event stylists also reused some large tinned tomatoes and used them as vases. The event styling was done so well and there was so much attention to detail put in place to make every corner of turn this backyard wedding into a Mediterranean party getaway.  

Event styling is very important when it comes to events, it transports your guests into another space, they are not just coming over to your house to have a catch up. Once they come in and are blown away by the space, that gets them excited for a great night to come, they get out the phones and start taking photos. It is just great to see the look of every ones faces when they see an exciting set up
