Backyard Wedding – DJ Hire
Over the weekend Melbourne Dj Hire provided a trio of services to a backyard wedding in Brunswick. We sent a Melbourne DJ, a photographer and also our open photobooth. The backyard weddings we are usually hired for are usually very low key, with a few decorations here and there around the garden, but this event was fully styled and professionally catered to.
Our clients had a backyard that was all concreted, with an under cover carport area. The carport space was cleared out, and tables and chairs were set up so the older guests could retreat to some seats, then there was a grazing table and bar set up in the the middle of the space. Our Melbourne DJ was set up in the corner of the shed so our equipment would be weather proof. The rest of the patio area was decorated with rows of beautiful fairy lights, tall bar tables and stools.
This backyard wedding had a Mediterranean theme as the bride was Italian and the groom was Greek. There were large vintage vases with filled with olive leaf branches and white flowers, large cans of tinned tomatoes were also used for vases. The caterers brought out little bowls of caprese salad, lasagnas, polenta cubes, Italian donuts and much more. There was a big barrel used as a table to store all the finest bottles of spirits. So much attention to detail was put into this little backyard wedding and our photographer got so many great shots from every angle, you wouldn’t have known it was a wedding in a backyard.
Our Melbourne DJ was sent a list of songs to play during the night and a lot of it was the ethnic Italian and Greek music, all family young and old got involved on the dancefloor. The was a large sense of love, joy and togetherness with friends and family linking hands and teaching each other their ethnic dances. It was truly a great night to remember.
