Outdoor Events
When you look at the roadmap it states that outdoor events will be permitted from the end of October. But there are a lot of people who are unsure what these outdoor events could be. Melbourne Dj Hire have worked at so many events that we know there are so many possibilities for outdoor events, especially at this time of the year.
Universities and schools hold events on campus all the time, they usually have space on a sports field or even an outdoor social hub. These schools are now starting to organise a graduation day for their year 12s and graduates to celebrate their year. Our Melbourne DJ would usually be set up under a marquee with a power lead coming from a building or a school could also set up a generator for us and the speakers would be facing the large open area which is used as the dancefloor. Our photographers don’t need power to roam around, but our photobooth does need to be under cover with a power supply, so we usually set the machine up under a covered area and it can be the designated area to take photos away from the dancing and commotion.
Wedding venues who also have a large outdoor space outdoors would also be able to hold weddings, engagements and other events on their premises. Seating can be moved outdoors onto a flat area like a lawn or driveway or path and the gardens will be the backdrop for these parties. There are already kitchen facilities available so the staff might have to transport the food a little further to get to the outdoor event space.
Outdoor events at a park or local reserve could be a little harder as there is no power supply or bathroom facilities. But there could be smaller scale meet ups and celebrations where organisers could set up tables with food and guests could bring camping chairs or picnic blankets to use as seating. It could be hard for a Melbourne Dj or photobooth to set up at a park but a generator or marquee could be set up for the day. A roaming photographer could be booked to take photos of the event as they don’t need to be under cover or need a power source.
