Byblos Function Room

Melbourne Dj hire worked at a 21st at the Byblos function room over the weekend. The event was organised by the mother of the birthday girl and our Melbourne DJ and roaming photographer were booked to look after the event. The parents also organised an incredible balloon display by James Kreates Balloons so that the birthday girl and her friends and family had a lovely backdrop for their professional photos.

Byblos is a Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant that is surrounded by the Melbourne Yarra River waterfront. The upstairs function room has a balcony that overlooks the Yarra riverfront venues and has a great sunset view and a view of all the city lights reflecting off the river. The balcony was a great place for guests to hang out if they wanted some quiet time away from the music and it was even a great spot to take photos. Our roaming photographer set up a mini photo shoot of the birthday girl and her friends in front of the city lights backdrop.

The catering at the Byblos function room was so unique to the restaurant theme. There were a selection of middle Eastern dips and bread and a range of exotic meat skewer grills and canapés. The function room was also decorated with exotic chandeliers, woodwork and other middle eastern interior fixtures. As part of the Middle Eastern them, there are also little nooks and sections of the venue that could be enclosed off if a group ever wanted to plan a private dining area.So if you are planning a private function and are looking to book in an area close to the city with beautiful views, food and interior design then the Byblos function room could be the perfect option for you. There is a large function space upstairs that comes with a balcony view and other options for private dining rooms if you are planning an event with smaller numbers.
