Family Festival

Melbourne Dj Hire was booked to play music at a family festival over the weekend. As the weather is warming up a lot of events are popping up and our Melbourne DJs are invited to play some upbeat fun tracks to build the atmosphere at these large events. Our photobooth was also booked to take fun photos of families at the festival. 

This large-scale family festival was organised by the council and had a strong focus on family and the community. There were a lot of free rides for the children, free crafts and activities for the kids to get involved in and also a lot of face painting and tattoos scattered around the festival for kids to get involved in. 

Our photobooth was set up in the kids’ section and we had a constant line of families and grandparents who wanted to take photos. Having a photobooth at a festival is a great idea, families take a photo and get a print out and it’s a great memento of the day. Some of our clients hire a photobooth every year for their family festival and the same families come back to the photobooth stall to take their photo and tell us about the collection of photos they have on their fridges. 

Our Melbourne Dj was set up in a marquee by the kids’ area and played some upbeat pop songs and threw in a few Disney songs in there when there were kids dancing near the set-up area. All the stalls were well planned out as there was a set section for the families to wonder around. There was a space on the grass for a magic show, rides and on the pathway, there were marquees lined up with kids activities. 

On the other side of the family festival there were stalls that sold hats, fashion, jewellery and in another section, there were local community stalls that were promoting their clubs like the dog owners club, sports clubs and lots more. On the other section there were also other amusement rides that were more appropriate for the older kids there were also more food trucks on the other side of the festival.
