Our photographers and photobooth attendants are sometimes booked for events that do not hire a Melbourne Dj, sometimes a client will use the venues in house speaker system to play the music for the night. There are some important reasons why you need to book a Dj for your event if you want dancing at your party. 

On two occasions, our photographer worked at an event where the client ran their iPod through the venues standard speaker system and the music was not loud enough. When you have a large group of people who are also singing, shouting and laughing that contributes to the sound quality so there will be times when the in-house speaker system is not enough. As a standard package our Melbourne Djs bring 2 powerful speakers and that is usually enough to cater to 100 people. 

Another reason why you need to book a dj is for the atmosphere and vibe of the event. Our photographer shot a valedictory the other night where the client didn’t book a Melbourne DJ, so the night was basically awards, photos and chatting with family and friends. They did try to put on music at the end of the night but the sound system just couldn’t cope with the amount of background noise coming from all the guests so you could hardly hear the music.
