Sporting Club Events

Melbourne Dj Hire are booked for a number of Sports Club Events throughout the year. When there is a sports club in the community they usually run a few different events during the year, they might have an awards night, a fundraiser and some even have a ladies day. Melbourne DJ Hire was booked for a ladies afternoon over the weekend and the clients booked a Melbourne DJ and an open photobooth to provide the entertainment for the afternoon. 

The event had a costume theme and teams and groups would show up wearing matching costumes and props. The day was filled with drinks, finger food, dancing, photos in the photobooth and then the day ended off with an auction to raise money for the sports club. The organisers also set up a balloon backdrop for their guests to take photos in front of, and since it was a costume party guests were eager to snap a photo of their costume. 

The crowd was a mix of age groups with younger players in their early 20s and then there were some mature aged women who had sons and daughters at the club. Our Melbourne DJ played a mix of pop songs including, Neil Diamond, ABBA, Shania Twain for the older crowd and then they played some Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce and Dua Lipa for the younger group. Even though the event was held in the afternoon, the ladies still got into the party spirit and had a good time dancing on the dancefloor. 

Sports Club Events are usually a successful night full of drinks and dancing, the team mates have a strong bond and they all love seeing each other in a glammed up social environment. They take the opportunity to get some group photos on the night, so our roaming photographers are regularly booked for these sports events. Our Melbourne DJs are always busy during the dance set as everyone is boozed up and ready to party.
