University Balls

Melbourne Dj Hire were hired for 3 services for a University Ball that we regularly service. These Uni students are part of a boarding community and this annual ball is for everyone to come together and have some fun. It is also for some members to get to know the rest of the students who lives in the student accommodation. 

Our Melbourne DJ was hired to play music for 5 hours and the students had also hired our open photobooth for their guests to enjoy and take home a memento from the night. Our roaming photographer was hired to capture professional photos of the guests arriving to the space and also capture some group shots. When it comes to a formal, group shots are very important. Guests have spent a lot of time and effort planning their look and they want to take that opportunity to get a photo with all their friends. Our roaming photographers are trained to approach group after group and to really focus on these posed group shots rather than blending in with the background and focusing on candid photos. 

The students also really loved using the open photobooth at the University ball, for a lot of them this was their first big uni event with all these services so it was exciting for them to see how a photobooth works and printing photos instantly. The ball had over 120 guests and they had hired the photobooth for 3 hours which was just the right amount of time for all guests to have a turn at using the booth. 

Our Melbourne Dj was hired for the longest out of all 3 suppliers, we started off by playing some mid tempo pop songs, then started playing some up beat popular bangers by the time guests had finished their mains. By the end of the night, we played a mix of bangers, requests and a lot of sing along songs like Taylor Swift, One Direction and Justin Bieber, the guests had a great time dancing and singing along and truly had a memorable nig
