Different Party Venues
If you are planning a party, then you would have looked at a range of different function rooms. A lot of pubs and restaurants have a separate room which the public can hire for a private event. If people are lucky enough to have a large property, they could use their backyard or even their garage for their celebration. A very different type of party venue that our Melbourne DJs have come across is a work space.
If you think about it, using your work space for an event is a great idea as it already has a lot of space to fit a number of people. The only dilemma a party planner has is to enhance the look of the area and transform it into a festive place where guests would like to hang out and party.
Our Melbourne DJ worked at a large warehouse over the weekend, and it was a massive hit. The client cleared out some space for the dancefloor and food. Decorated the space with some streamers, balloons and party lights and it totally transformed the professional work area to a fun party environment.
Holding an event at a work space is a very economical option as there is no venue hire or an inflated cost for food and beverages if you were to order them from a bar. A number of our clients order take away pizzas or a fast-food drive through as an easy option to cater to their guests. Eskys and tubs filled with drinks are easily accessible for guests to help themselves.
If your work space has an outdoor area, you could also set up some basketball hoops, outdoor games like Connect Four, Jenga or a bean bag toss and more options like that so guests can have some interactions outside.
So if you are planning a celebration and want to create a day that is interactive, then using your work place could be a simple and cost effective option. Guests are also blown away when they see the transformation of their work space.
