Engagement Party Packages
Over the weekend we sent our Melbourne DJ and our roaming photographer to an engagement party. The couple booked our Melbourne Dj for the standard 5 hour package with the full set up of speakers, lights, controllers and mic. The couple also booked our photographer for a 3 hour roaming photography session.
With our engagement package our roaming photographer will always try to capture a few couple portraits at the start of the night. This engagement party happened to take place at Middleman Functions where there is an abundance of location options. Our photographer quickly took the couple to the garden area for a few portraits that turned out stunning. There are some occasions where there are no gardens or outdoor areas where the photographer can take these portrait sessions, so if that is the case we usually pose the couples in front of a balloon garland or even just a nice background at the venue.
Our engagement package also includes a Melbourne DJ to play for 5 hours, we start the night off with some light background music, songs that are of a slow and relaxed tempo and then as the night goes on we choose songs that are more bop along popular tracks. Then once the couple have finished with their speeches, that is when we are ready to play the bangers. Our Melbourne DJ will usually have a songlist from the client and then we will take requests from the guests and also play the crowd favourites. There is usually a very mixed crowd at an engagement party, you will have the couple and their friends, then you will have aunties, uncles and parents and sometime there are even grandparents. Our Melbourne DJ will try to keep everyone on the dancefloor by playing some retro tracks from the 80’s and 90’s so everyone can have a dance together.
