Youth Event

Melbourne Dj Hire worked at a midweek youth event for a local council where the organisers planned a short disco and performance for the teenagers of the area. The organisers book our Melbourne DJ for the short 2 hour event where the kids got to come in and hang out with each other and have a dance. The event was held at a local community hall at a sports ground so there was an open courtyard where the kids could gather for an outdoor performance. The organisers booked an entertainer to perform some bike tricks for the young people and they gathered outdoors to watch the show. After the performance was finished, the kids came inside to have their dinner and pizza and chips were on the menu. 

Youth events are very popular and are usually organised by council groups and their members as a way to connect with local families and help the young people in the area to make some friends or join in on activities. Melbourne DJ hire have worked at local discos, talent shows, and even festivals for councils. So council departments even have separate youth groups for teens with special needs, different cultural groups and interest groups.  

One year we even worked at a Halloween dress up event for a group of teens who wanted to organise a dress up competition. Our Melbourne Dj and photobooth were hired for the event and guests were able to take some funny photos in their costumes and also got to have a dance when our Melbourne DJ was playing. It was a great night and a so rewarding to see so many teens in the community getting along and connecting with each other. Another great thing about these youth events are the fact that the organisers ask a lot of the youth leaders to help organise, promote and set up the event. This gives the youth priceless skills and they are so proud to be responsible for these events.
