Simple Wedding Locations
Melbourne DJ Hired worked at a small scale wedding over the weekend where the bride and groom had their entire wedding at the one location. The wedding took place at a cafe that was situated in a corporate area, but even though the environment around the venue was corporate, there was a lovely garden and water feature area where the couple could take their wedding photos. This meant that there was no time wasted driving around to different locations, our photographer set up the couple in a few different locations on site and the couple still got a great range of different photos in their wedding album. Then after the shoot, they literally walked back to the reception to have fun with their guests. This meant there were no transport costs, the whole wedding was finished within 5 hours.
Our Melbourne Djs and photographers work at so many weddings were guests have to drive to multiple locations and they are usually full day weddings. In some cultures the immediate family will have to go to the bride or grooms side for a cultural ceremony, then there might be a church ceremony and then there will be a break and the guests will then head to the reception. We are noticing a lot of bride and grooms are now choosing to have their entire wedding at the one simple location.
Just two weeks ago our Melbourne Dj and photographer worked at a wedding at The Bank of Collins, the couple stayed at The Treasury Hotel which was in the same building as the reception, then they came downstairs to the venue where the ceremony was taking place, after the ceremony the couple had just organised a short photoshoot with their bridal party at a park close to the area but the guests were able to stay at the venue for some drinks and canapes. Then after the bridal shoot was finished the couple came back into the reception to join their guests for dinner and some dancing.
So if you would like a simple wedding location, it is important to find a venue that has space for a ceremony and some photography locations. Some venues that have a lot of greenery like Middleman Functions in Scoresby are perfect, and venues by the beach like the Sandbar would also be a perfect fit.
