House Party Planning
Melbourne Dj Hire were booked for a house party over the weekend where the client had transformed her double garage into a party space. It was an 18th birthday and the client had her own speakers and organised her own music, but she did book an open photobooth for her and her friends and family to take some photos. When planning a house party it is important to set up spaces and zones for people to dance, take photos and eat. The client had organised a balloon garland backdrop and also organised a table for dinner and drinks. The parents and the friends of parents were partying in the house and the friends of the birthday girl had their own space in the garage to party.
Our open photobooth was set up in a corner of the garage and the birthday girl and her friends could pop in whenever they wanted, family friends would also come out to the garage to use the photobooth so it was a good opportunity for guests to move around the different spaces and mingle with the whole party. As the birthday girl had a big family, a lot of time was taken taking photos with grandparents, aunts and cousins. Melbourne DJ Hire also included a guestbook for the family to stick their photos in and write in the book.
When it came time to cut the cake, the family set up the cake display in front of the balloon backdrop an it was the perfect time to take some family photos with the birthday girl and all her friends also jumped in to a big group photo. After the cake was cut, they turned up the music and had a great time dancing. So if you are thinking about planning a house party, then having a well thought out layout of the party with different zones and activities will ensure your guests will have a great night.
