Moon Dog Brewery

Melbourne Dj Hire worked at Moon Dog Brewery over the weekend and it wasn’t for the usual trivia or pub night, it was for a wedding! This quirky venue is divided into 2 seperate space, a nice comfortable, warm and loungy pub space with arcade games and couch seating and another large open space that was perfect for a private function. Our Melbourne Dj was hired to provide the music for the ceremony and dance set and our roaming photographer was hired to snap all the special moments of the night. 

The back end of the function venue had a tall display of wooden beer barrels staked up to make the perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony, the whole venue was also draped with sparkly fairy lights which lit up the space in the perfect way so that it was light enough to see the entire ceremony but not overly bright to ruin the ambience of the venue. 

The venue had their own pockets of photography locations like the wooden beer barrel wall, the fairy lights and 2 graffiti roller doors, but the quiet Abbotsford Street was also rich in photography locations with all the different laneways and graffiti artwork around. Our photographer took the couple out for a short walk down the street and found many spaces to shoot some portraits of the couple. 

After all the formalities was were finished our Melbourne DJ Ben a mix of commercial bangerz from a range of different eras. The older guests like the parents of the bride and groom loved all the ABBA and The Village people and Michael Jackson. The bride and groom and their friends were all in there 30s so our Melbourne DJ also played a lot of pop songs from the 90s like the Backstreet boys, Madonna, Britney and more.
