Organizing A House Party
The new trend at the moment is organising a great house party. Since there have been so many rule changes and restrictions in place when it comes to venues and restaurants a lot of Melbourne Dj Hire’s clients have decided to hold their parties at their house. Last weekend we worked at two, outstanding house parties. One was a gaming themed party where guest dressed up as their favourite characters from a video game. There other house party was a music festival themed party where guests dressed in unique festival style outfits.
There haven’t been many changes to the rules around house visits, so a lot of our clients have decided to organise a great house party. Our clients are still trying to keep safe by holding their parties in their backyards and all dancefloors have been outdoors as well. One of our clients set up a big marquee and a dancefloor in their backyard for the Melbourne Dj to set up in, they also booked some light up bar tables, lounge furniture and stools to be placed around the backyard for guests to get comfortable in. The parents also booked a fancy light up bar to place at the centre of the backyard. The guest were able to help themselves to all the spirits and mixers on the bar. The parents also booked a photobooth for the party and guests really enjoyed taking photos and getting prints to take home. Family of the birthday girl also got to use the photobooth and take some family photos together.
One client who organised a festival style party hired a bucking bull, a large tent where guests could go inside and chill out, a Melbourne DJ and a roaming photographer. The guests were also able to set up their picnic rugs and sit around the ground and chat and drink. The client also organised a taco food truck so catering was taken care of, the food truck also made churros as a dessert for the night. Our client also organised a little tattoo and glitter station so guests could decorate their outfit. There were so many little details to the event that made it so much fun for the guest and that little extra effort in those finer details made the photographs look even better.
