Party Lights

Over the weekend, Melbourne Dj hire sent our open photobooth and roaming photographers to a high school formal. The teachers had organised the photography services for the event but the students had asked their friend to Dj at their formal and that young Melbourne Dj did not provide any party lights for the dancefloor.

The dancefloor had a lot of students on it dancing and chatting along, however there was no party atmosphere or look of excitement on the dancefloor. It was a dark space and it just seemed like crowd of students standing on the dancefloor in the dark and that added to some students not dancing and staying at their tables or focused on using the photobooth.

When you throw a dance party, the lights are usually off to set the mood for the night, and coloured flashing lights and lasers provide the ambient lighting on a dark dancefloor. Party lights are a very important part of a dancefloor. The flashing coloured lights give off a party mode to the entire room and that is why all of our Melbourne Djs have a set of party lights that are mounted on a tripod and we have a set of different coloured lights on the stand that flash to the beats of the music. When there is fast music and up-tempo beats, the lights flash very strongly and it looks like the lights are dancing along with the crowd If you are organising a party with dancing, it is very important to have some sort of party light or disco ball lighting up the dancefloor.
