Postponed Events
Given the current situation with Covid and the rules around isolating, quite a lot of our clients have had to postpone their events. There was a 70th birthday that had to postpone their event due to a close family member contracting Covid. Melbourne DJ Hire and most of the entertainment industry have become very flexible with the rules and are happy to reschedule the event for a later date.
Not only do we need to be flexible with family members testing positive, we have also had a few clients postpone events due to border closures and also natural disasters like the floods in Queensland and New South Wales. Quite a lot of Melbourne DJ Hire’s clients have asked to reschedule their parties because an important family member was unable to travel down due to a travel issue. Some clients even had family stuck in the flood areas earlier this year.
Melbourne DJ Hire and or photobooth finally got to attend this 70th birthday over the weekend and it was a fantastic event. All the friends and family of the birthday lady were so happy to come together and celebrate. The event was held in the function room at Longbeach Hotel and it is quite a large space so there was plenty of room to put tables around so the older guests and the Birthday lady could have a seat and chat with their friends.
A few of the guests had said to our Melbourne DJ, that this was the first time that a lot of them have come together because of everything that has happened the last couple of years. So there was a lot of dancing from all the guests of all the different age groups, there were also a lot of photos taken in the photobooth. When it is a special family event, our photobooth attendant will make sure that there are a few family photos taken on the day, for example the grandparents with all their children, the grandparents with all their grandchildren and so on
