Photobooth Timings
Melbourne DJ Hire worked at an engagement party over the weekend where the couple had booked us to set up the photobooth in the middle of the function. The guests had already arrived and were settling into the event and getting ready to be seated and the entrees were starting to come out as well. Our photobooth was also in the foyer so it was not visible to guests inside the room. Due to the timing of the booking and the running schedule of the event, the photobooth was not used much
A large timeframe of the event was dedicated to speeches and cultural formalities, so all guests stayed seated. When all the formalities and meals were finished, that is when the guests could start lining up and get to have fun in the photobooth.
The timing of the photobooth booking times and the timeslot of the meals also clashed because the meals were getting served very close to the start time of the photobooth. Due to safety regulations, most venues require the guests to be seated so that the wait staff can safely bring out the meals without having to walk around guests who may be standing or walking around.Due to the rush at towards the end of the original booking time, the client asked Melbourne Dj Hire to extend the booking for an extra hour so that all the guests had the opportunity to use the photobooth. So when you are booking a photobooth, the best time to book is usually at the very start, when guests are arriving and before they are comfortable in their seats. Or if you think that your guests will need some time to warm up to the silly photos, you can hire us towards the end of the night when most of the meals and formalities have finished.
