Keeping busy during lockdown
The staff at Melbourne DJ Hire have been very quiet the last 3 months due to the Melbourne lockdowns. Our Melbourne Djs, photographers and photobooth attendants usually work at least 2 days every weekend and now that a lot of our staff are out of work, we have found some ways of keeping busy during lockdown.
A few members of our team have actually found jobs as essential workers, they are currently working in factories and in production as a way of keeping busy during lockdown. In 2020 during the first lockdown a lot of our Melbourne Djs and photographers tried to improve their skills by learning new mixing and music techniques or learning new editing and new shooting styles to increase our skill levels. However this lockdown a lot of our staff have found new ways of keeping busy while also working and earning an income.
Some of our photographers have been lucky enough to find work shooting products for ecommerce stores and photographing food for take away restaurants around the city. Our senior photographer was shooting a few family portraits and outdoor sessions with couples and groups when gatherings were still allowed. Once some restrictions are eased and gatherings are allowed outdoors, there are a number of photography sessions our photographer will have to shoot.
While it is great that our crew are keeping busy during lockdown, our staff have so much passion for working in events every week. We love seeing families and friends getting together on the dancefloor, it is so much fun seeing all the poses and fun that groups have in photobooths, our photographers love capturing priceless candid moments of celebration and emotions at weddings and parties. Our team are eagerly waiting for the day with vaccination rates are on track and we can finally get back to working at events and being apart of all celebrations and events that people desperately want to get back to.
