Different Cultures – Dj Melbourne

Over the weekend Melbourne Dj Hire was booked for a big Italian birthday party. Our Melbourne Dj was given a list of songs to play and a some of the tracks were the traditional popular Italian dance songs. We were told to play the Italians songs during the middle of the night and sure enough all the friends and family got on the dance for a big warm dance session. 

We have sent our Melbourne Djs to a number of different events involving different cultures. At each of these events there is always something very special in terms of how they have their individual ways of partying. Italians like to over cater and bring out so much food that it almost feels like the whole night is about eating. They also have a few songs where the guests link hands in a circle. They have a lot more dance moves like hooking elbows and special steps they take with their feet. 

The Greek also have similar dance parties and their special songs that they like to dance to. They also have a dance where there is a bottle of spirits on the dancefloor and the hosts and family members dance around the bottle and take a shot. 

Indian weddings are full of colours and sparkles in terms of dress code. Most of the wedding is also packed full of Indian music and lots of dancing from guests of all ages. There have been a number of Indians weddings out Melbourne Djs have worked at there they have given us a specific song list. The dancefloor is always full and the vibe is so infectious that non Indian guests get up and join in in all the dancing even if they are not familiar with the song. 

It’s such a joy and privilege to be able to work at all these types of events and experience the way different cultures celebrate.
