Elopment After Party
We sent one of our Melbourne Djs to an elopement after party on the weekend. It was a lunchtime function at the charming Quat Quatta at Ripponlea. The couple had eloped to New York and got married at Central Park. Then they decided to throw an elopement after party and invite all their close family and friends to join them to celebrate.
The couple hired a photobooth from Melbourne Dj Hire as well, they also had a Melbourne Dj, a photographer and also had a wedding coordinator and a team of assistants around to help organise the day. The wedding coordinator and her staff worked closely with the florist to decorate the table setting. They provided the arch for the ceremony and also the table cloths and decor. The florist company the couple used provided tall grand floral arrangements along with small vases of dahlias, hydrangeas and carnations decorating the long dining tables.
As the event was an elopement after party, there wasn’t much of a ceremony but a couple of religious songs that were sung by the crowd. The family priest also said a few words and go through a mock ceremony with the guests and also to announce the bride and groom. The rest of the day was very low key, there were a few speeches from the best friends, siblings and the fathers from both sides and then the bride and groom went up to do some heart felt speeches and explained their reasons why they wanted to elope and have a party later.
It was a great idea for a wedding party celebration. The couple got to have time to focus on each other and to really enjoy the moment of getting married, they also got married without the stress of throwing a wedding and all the worries that go into the day. Then when they came back to Australia they started planning a simple lunch and just got to catch up with their loved ones.
