Wedding Couples – 2021

As each of the lockdown continues, and as the covid numbers increase, more couples in Melbourne are losing hope.  Couples of 2021 have really had it tough since May, Melbourne has been in and out of lockdown 3 times and despite the tough restrictions we have endured, the numbers are not slowing down. Melbourne Dj Hire have had multiple clients just simply cancel their weddings as it has been too stressful and upsetting to have to postpone their wedding date the third or fourth time. 
A number of couples this year have simply gotten married at the registry and will organise a wedding celebration next year in the hope of living a normal life with covid. As we are all told by the government, when the vaccination rate reaches 80% businesses will start to open up. We can finally start to eat out at a restaurant, we can hold parties and dance and take photos with our loved ones. Sporting events can continue and concerts and shows will be permitted. 
Couples of 2021 will likely have to wait until 2022 to hold a wedding celebration with all their loved ones. It is likely that all guests would have to be fully vaccinated and masks and social distancing may still be a security measure to keep all guests safe. Hopefully the other states will open their borders and family from interstate will be able to attend. There have been a number of Melbourne Dj Hire’s clients who have postponed multiple times as the borders were still closed and their important family members were unable to make the trip down.
Melbourne DJ Hire are hopeful for a busy year in 2022 with a number of postponed weddings and a lot of wedding afterparties. Our Melbourne DJs, photographers and photobooth attendants have been informed of our covid safe plans and we will do all we can to provide a great party service while keeping all our equipment covid safe.
