Summer Wedding – Dj Hire Melbourne

Melbourne Dj Hire was booked well in advance for a small intimate wedding at the beautiful Willows venue on St Kilda Road. The bride and groom were expecting a nice summers day but instead their wedding was held on a weekend where heavy rain and floods were predicted. Fortunately for them there was not a lot of rain nor floods but it was very very cold.

This wedding started out a little different to the traditional wedding, the ceremony was held at the venue and there were a few people who arrived early just to mingle, it was a little odd and neither the Melbourne Dj or photobooth attendants knew what was happening, were they waiting for their seats or were they just there early. Then a few more people showed up and it was obvious that they were their for the wedding ceremony. Only about 15 people came early to witness the ceremony and our Melbourne Dj was told that it was just very close immediate family and friends.

Then after the ceremony had finished more guests arrived and the bride and groom were mingling and canepes and drinks were served. Then the main reception was held in a beautiful glass sunroom that also looked like a conservatory. There were a lot of tables set up so the guests could enjoy their meals and the photobooth was inside the main Willows buildings close to the bar.

So even thought the bride had planned on having a beautiful warm summer wedding, Melbourne decided to have a rain storm that weekend, luckily it wasn’t raining but it was very cold. But that is Melbourne for you!
