Dancing At Weddings
It has been announced that weddings are permitted from the end of October but the rules about dancing at weddings is still not clear. Dancing at weddings is something that is very important to most bride and grooms as it allows them and all their guests to celebrate the day and let their hair down and be a little silly. Melbourne DJ Hire have been booked for a lot of weddings later this year, we are required to play some background music at the wedding and also to MC and introduce the couple and the bridal party, a lot of our clients are booking there weddings and hope that more rules will come out that will allow them to have some dancing.
It doesn’t seem like it would be a great party if there is no dancing at weddings but last year in 2020, there was a limited amount of people on the dance floor and a lot of venues had security guards who kept an eye on the density on the dance floor and politely told guests to wait their turn on the dance floor. Guests ended up dancing at their tables or just dancing around the venue. It was definitely different to the usual dance floor we were used to, but if there are density limits on a dance floor then the next safest option is to socially distance while having a boogie.
Melbourne DJ Hire would think that masks would be mandate on the dance floor and drinks on the dance floor are usually banned due to health and safety. It is disappointing that masks would have to be worn but we are certain that guests would rather attend an event wearing masks than not being able to attend a wedding at all.
So if you are thinking about organising a wedding but worried that guests will not be able to dance, there are definitely ways that your guests will still have a great time.
